Dr. Viviana Ruiz-Gutierrez discusses the science behind Celebrate Urban Birds. Viviana got her BS in Tropical Biology from the National University of Costa Rica in 2002. She earned her PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Cornell University in 2009. She currently is a researcher at Colorado State University in the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology.
